The inclusion of Aristocrat in the S&P/ASX 50 Index, that was part of S&P Dow Jones Indices’ March quarterly review, will become effective at the open of trading on March 20. Aristocrat is currently a component stock of the S&P/ASX 100 Index.
The firm’s net profit after tax jumped 88 % year-on-year in the 12 months to September 30, to US$ 269.4 million. Group revenue expanded by 34.5 % year-on-year, to nearly US$ 1.6 billion, while EBITDA rose 54.1 %, to US$ 605 million.
Aristocrat has had a new chief executive with effect from March 1, with Trevor Croker succeeding group head Jamie Odell.
