Casino Iguazú ends a successful WSOP and gets ready for Cataratas Poker Tour

After just over a year of being a Brazilian champion, Rafael Pandolfo of Brazil makes history and returns to the spotlight with the WSOP Argentina Main Event title. Casino Iguazú has already scheduled its next big tournament. Next August 17-19, it will be held the Cataratas Poker Tour, a series that receives many Brazilians.

Rafael Pandolfo has lived another unforgettable day in his poker career, and after a little more than a year of being a Brazilian champion, the Paranaan returns to the spotlight with the important title of the Main Event of the WSOP Argentina in Casino Iguazú.

Before defeating tough opponents at the final table, Pandolfo stepped over a field that featured incredible 924 innings. Born in Foz do Iguaçu, the champion took home the US$ 140,050, the biggest prize of his career, playing at home.

"I have a marathon of tournaments this month, and I had to win one. I just did not know which one to choose, Now I do not know what to say, it happened. I'm very happy, as it is a WSOP!," said the champion, still stunned.

Second stage of the Cataratas Poker Tour

Before the end of the emotions of the WSOP Circuit Argentina, Casino Iguazú has already scheduled its next great tournament. From August 17 to 19, the second stage of the Cataratas Poker Tour will take place, a casino serie that receives more Brazilians every day.

The tournament has US$ 100,000 guaranteed and three qualifying days, with Day 1A starting on Thursday (17) and Friday receiving Days 1B and 1C. The survivors return on Saturday for the great final, starting at 2pm.

The US$ 1,100 buy-in gives the right to a stack of 15,000 chips, with rebuys allowed for the same value and stack, as well as an add-on of US$ 1,100 to get an additional 30,000 chips. The series already has two more marked stages: the 3rd, which will take place from September 21 to 23, and the 4th, from November 2 to 4, all with US$ 100 thousand guaranteed.
