G2E gets ready for its most important edition in years

The Global Gaming Expo (G2E), presented by the American Gaming Association, will be returning for its 16th edition this year in Las Vegas. This year’s event could be “the most important G2E in years” for listed casino technology suppliers, says analyst David Katz of Telsey Advisory Group.

Taking place at the Sands Expo Center 3-5 October, G2E couldn’t be better positioned to showcase the technologies, services and products of the brightest companies around. Attracting nearly 26,000 gaming professionals from 101 countries the event provides vast opportunities to see new products and innovations, as well as make connections, network, and conduct business.

"This year’s event bears greater importance than the past several and could have a greater impact on the related stocks,” Katz stated. "Ultimately, some of the companies’ stocks have performed exceedingly well and they will need to make a case for further upside while others have underperformed and will look to the event to gain traction with investors.”

From executives and corporate managers to tribal leaders and buyers, the range of products, exhibitors, and opportunities to be found at the Sands Expo Center mean that there is something forall levels of industry professionals attending. On the show floor will be industry-leading displays of: casino management services, cash handling solutions, hospitality installations, gaming units, and player tracking systems, just to name a few.

Of the 2016 event, 88% of attendees said new products are the primary reason they attend G2E, with 61% claiming it is the most important show to their buying process, and 52% noted they found a new exhibitor they plan on working with over the next 12 months.

There will be the chance to network, connect and discover end-to-end non-gaming solutions that increase customer spend across hospitality concepts, food and beverage, technology solutions and entertainment, all under one roof.
