Brazilian firm already design slot furnitures for future local gaming market

GMB - Tell us a bit about the trajectory of Slot Machines do Brazil. How and when did you start the business?
Ângelo Corrêa:- The idea came in November 2015, Brazil had just plunged into a deep economic crisis and we were looking for an unexplored market niche to meet. We initially thought of marketing slots machines, but with the gaming bill that came forward moving slowly, even through many changes, we finally decided to continue with our business plan, but only with the manufacture of Nickel Hunting furniture. Today Slot Machine of Brazil is a segment of furniture product developed and subsidized by AD Designed, also manufacturer of furniture, but residential and corporate.

What is the main product of your line? What does it bring differently to gaming fans?
Our main product is the nickel hunting wood cabinet. Our differential will be the renovation of the design of the cabinets, in a short period of time, to be defined next to our clients, when we are operating.

What are the markets served by Slot Machine of Brazil?
Once the law is approved, we will wait for the legal deadline and begin serving the Brazilian market initially.

Has the company made a strong investment to manufacture its products?
Slot Machine of Brazil, once it is operating, will be able to manufacture a large volume of units monthly, thanks to high production machine tools and excellent cut finishing.

Does Slot Machine do Brazil also show its products at specialized trade shows?
Initially we did not show our products in any international fair, but we have a great interest in participating in a future fair held in Brazilian.

How has the company monitored the process of legalizing the activity in Brazil? Do you expect that the country can have a law soon enough?
We are closely following the process of legalization.We hope that as soon as this political turmoil calms down, the law will pass quickly, and we hope that agencies such as GLI and BMM will approve the regulation of slots produced in Brazil. The laws regarding casinos and bingos should in principle encourage all operators interested in acting in this sector and not limit anyone. Even all the limitations imposed in the bill, came from people who are against the taxes coming from this sector, result of this a regulation that in our view, could be more open and not narrow. Anyway, we hope to be able to contribute with some good products and income to the families of our country that it needs so much.

What novelties is the company preparing to present to the Brazilian market?
We have prepared a range of furniture designs and options to choose from.

What are the goals of Slot Machine do Brazil in the Brazilian gaming market after legalization?
We aim to meet a large demand of units, in a short period of time, and generate wealth for Brazil.
