The special committee that examines the regulation of virtual currencies (such as bitcoins) and airline mileage programs (PL 2303/15) debates today (Wednesday 16) the use of tools and technologies capable of innovating platforms behind virtual currencies.
During the meeting will be discussed the use of devices such as "Arduino", which is a platform that allows building free-board prototype of single-hardware, and "Blockchain", a technology aimed at decentralizing data as a security measure.
Deputy Alexandre Valle (PR-RJ), who chairs the commission and proposed the debate, emphasizes that "the mechanisms aim to maximize cheap, functional device and programs of easy accessibility to students and amateur designers and also ensure more security to digital transactions."
Among others invited to the debate are the representative of Online IPS Brazil, Witoldo Hendrich Júnior, and Legal and Operations Director of FirstPay Latin America, Gabriela Vieira.
