Game Lounge, the player acquisition and marketing subsidiary of Cherry Gaming, has launched its first Japanese gaming asset; JapaneseCasino.com as it seeks to expand its services and expertise within fresh new markets.
Speaking toTotallyGaming.com, Jonas Cederholm CEO at Game Lounge detailed that its decision to tackle the difficult Japanese online casino market was taken under "careful consideration to Japan’s local needs as they are very different from all of the European markets”.
Launching its fully localised Japanese gambling affiliate website, Cederholm stated that Game Lounge management has invested diligently in research and development for its asset to be effective. Game Lounge focused time and resource on sourcing quality content writers, website designers to customise the website to Japanese habits and knowledgeable Japanese marketers.
"Casinos and the promotion of the gaming industry in Japan have been in the news recently, and perceptions of online gambling in Japan are improving all the time. In some ways, it is similar to the Nordic markets several years ago, and of course growth has been extremely strong in these since.
"We are
confident that active online players will increase quickly in Japan, and these
players tend to be very valuable; the lifetime value is around twice that of
European players,” Cederholm added.
"We have visited Japan and spoken to both lawyers and people familiar with the
country’s online casino industry to ensure we have a strong understanding of
the market. It differs from Europe in a number of ways, so it is important to
hire local expertise to achieve success," Cederholm concluded.
