The new gambling venue will be the UK’s third largest casino and the largest casino in north England and Scotland. The highly-anticipated venue is located in the Victoria Quarter upmarket shopping area in Leeds, England.
The new
casino will be able to accommodate 1,400 people and will offer 140 slots, 24
live gaming tables, and 75 electronic gaming machines, along with one of the
UK’s biggest poker rooms, with seating for 100.
In addition to the new Victoria Gate Casino, on August 9, 2012, GGV was
approved provisionally, after winning full council approval for a new ‘small
casino’ for Bath in March 2014, and was granted a provisional large casino
license on May 17, 2013. Groupe Partouche will operate the £ 19 million
development, which will feature a 147-key Z Hotel, casino gaming floor, and two
restaurants. The casino development is expected to open next year in the
spring.
