The status of London as the world capital of gaming has been underlined with confirmation that over 557 regulators and legislators from jurisdictions around the globe will be attending ICE 2017 alongside CEOs representing every major gaming trade association in the world.

Kate Chambers, Managing Director of the Gaming Division at Clarion Events, believes ICE has developed beyond being just the commercial hub for gaming. She explained: "Naturally, the number one focus for everyone involved is the provision of a professional environment for the world’s top gaming innovators to meet with an international audience of buyers. But perhaps a side of ICE that goes largely unseen is the central role it plays in the strategic development of gaming.

"This year we are hosting 101 VIP attendees at the annual Regulators Luncheon taking place alongside ICE and the World Regulatory Assembly which we are holding at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. To have so many regulators and legislators networking, discussing policy and meeting with the industry, has to contribute in the development and implementation of progressive and business friendly regulatory regimes.

"Added to this, ICE will host 51 CEOs from international industry bodies and trade associations, making it the most important meeting place in world gaming.” ICE 2017 will feature over 500 exhibitors from 66 nations.
