Lesley Samuels, General Manager of Gaming and Nick Ostler, Customer Relations Manager of The Ritz Club had the honour of accepting the prestigious gaming award for Casino VIP Room of the Year at the 10th annual International Gaming Awards, which were held in London and attended by hundreds of industry VIPs.
The judging panel who are all industry experts and notoriously difficult to please, reached their final decision after an intensive evaluation process that considered outstanding customer service, quality of design, exceptional features and best use of technology to determine the eventual winner.
Roger Marris, Chief Executive of The Ritz Club said: "We were particularly delighted and extremely proud to have won this coveted award. We are a people business and this accolade also recognises the high standards and commitment of the team who go to great lengths to make sure that all our members feel special – ‘beyond expectation is our motto.”
Created for the most important players in the world, The Aida Room is perhaps one of the most beautiful VIP salons in the world, with its silk clad walls enhanced with frescoes and gilt, exquisite crystal chandeliers, ornate ceilings and sumptuous fabrics collectively echoing the grandeur of the magnificent Russian palaces of Catherine The Great.
In this most private retreat, accessed from a separate elevator, a host of gaming facilities await (Baccarat, Blackjack, Poker, Roulette) within an environment of discreet sophistication strictly designed for one individual or group at a time – and with no possibility of sharing.
