This year, the Gaming Market Colombia will present the conclusions of an extensive reputation study that measures according to the audiences (financial and insurance sector, government, opinion leaders and operators along with unions) their perception in relation to various issues.
"We have started a great strategy of communications and reputation to contribute to the growth of the industry in Colombia," said Evert Montero Cárdenas, president of Fecoljuegos.
The Gaming Market Colombia will begin with a Foro Semana (Week Forum) dedicated to exposing how Colombia has become a market model for the gaming industry and what should be the joint challenges to face in the future. "This long-term strategy that we have started with the private sector and with the support of the National Government seeks to communicate all the good things that happen in our industry based on a serious diagnosis about what different key players in the country think," added Montero Cárdenas.
The event will be attended by senior government officials such as the Ministers of Finance, ICT, Commerce, the president of Coljuegos as well as union leaders, presidents of the main companies in the sector in Colombia, representatives of investment firms and actors who want to know about the industry. "We are convinced that this academic agenda will allow us to clarify the actions to be carried out in 2019 and overcome so many challenges that this industry has in tax, legal and commercial matters," said Fecoljuegos president.
During the annual summit a space will also be allocated for a complete business round during which it is expected that the best of the industry along with hundreds of investors interested in Colombia will make networking and close important agreements for the sector.
In the same way, within the framework of the communications strategy 2018, a special edition will circulate in the country dedicated to exposing how this industry has contributed in terms of innovation, sustainability, business leadership and economic development with Colombia.
"We have managed to bring together the entire private sector to build a strategy that vindicates the reputation of our industry and tells Colombians that our economic activity generates jobs, taxes and generates development," Montero concluded.
