The presidents of the WLA, Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, and of ALEA (Association of State Lotteries and Casinos of Argentina), Alfredo Monaco, welcome the event, which was declared of "Tourist Interest" by the Ministry of Tourism of Argentina and that has the institutional sponsorship of the Tourism Entity of the Buenos Aires City.
In an attempt to make the congress more inclusive and to ensure that delegates gain advantages in the new world, the fee structure has been revised. Registration fees for WLS 2018 will be reduced by up to 25% for delegates of lotteries and member suppliers, compared to previous events. In addition to this revised rate structure, WLS 2018 promises to offer a stimulating schedule, a complete trade show and a series of exciting networking events.
The WLS 2018 program transcends the themes of the gaming sector, includes speakers of international sports figures, specialists in the prevention of manipulation of results in Olympic competitions, heroes of survival, experts in artificial intelligence solutions applied to lotteries, design of video games and blockchain, among others.
Parallel sessions will cover the core issues of WLA, such as Corporate Social Responsibility, Sports Betting, Disruption, as well as many other issues related to the industry.
In addition, WLS 2018 will have a unique trade fair. The participants of the convention will find the latest in systems and services in the market, from cutting-edge lottery technology to innovations in marketing. The trade fair has been structured to maximize opportunities for the interaction of delegates and exhibitors. Its official opening is scheduled for Sunday, November 18, just before the opening dinner, and then, from November 19 to 21, it will be combined with lunches on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
It was also reported that, once again, the WLA will honor excellence and innovation in the field of responsible gaming in the WLS 2018 with the WLA Responsible Gaming Awards competition.
