The congress, which continues today, focuses on bringing together parliamentarians to discuss policies relevant to the sector.

During the second day of the event, Bob Santos, national secretary for Interinstitutional Integration of the Ministry of Tourism underscored the government's efforts to boost the travel industry. He also highlighted the role of MTur as an incentive for business tourism and events in Brazil.

"Through the promotion of destinations and investments in infrastructure, such as the construction of convention centers in all regions of Brazil, we have pushed the structuring of the segment. They are tourists who spend more and who intend to return to the destinations visited for work or study when they are well received, forming an important niche market," he explained.
