State representative of Rio Grande do Norte suggests regulation of casinos in Brazil

Parliamentarian Nelter Queiroz (MDB) suggested that there should be an understanding with the churches and with the Government so that the opening of the casinos becomes a reality as soon as possible in Brazil. 'I am going to look for deputies from other states so that together we can create a bill that is voted on all over Brazil and that allows the opening of casinos, seeking an increase in the economy and tourism, generating jobs and income, and mainly for tourist states as RN,' justified Queiroz.

The resumption of the economy and the strengthening of tourism guided the speech of state deputy Nelter Queiroz (MDB) during an ordinary session in the Legislative Assembly. The congressman said that he will start a fight, with the Federal Government, for the regulation of casinos in Brazil.

"I will look for deputies from other states so that together we can create a bill that is voted on all over Brazil and that allows the opening of these companies, seeking an increase in the economy and tourism, generating jobs and income for the country and especially for the tourist states, as is the case of RN", he justified.

The parliamentarian suggested that there should be an understanding with the churches and with the Government so that the opening of the casinos becomes a reality as soon as possible in Brazil. "Rio Grande do Norte has cities and beaches where these casinos can be installed, promoting employment and income in these locations. Beaches like Pipa, São Miguel do Gostoso and many others," he said.

Queiroz took the opportunity and suggested to the State Government to study the possibility to build an aerodrome on the beach. "There are already many people who have their own plane and want to visit our beaches and there is no aerodrome in most of these cities," he said.

Another request made by the parliamentarian to the State Government, was the paving of the stretch that connects the Hotel Vila Galé to the beach of Perobas, in Touros. "It is less than a kilometer long, but it will make a big difference for the tourists who arrive there," he stressed.

To conclude, the deputy made an appeal to the Public Prosecutor's Office demanding that the authorities take the necessary measures and carry out the needed inspections in RN's private hospitals, which, according to the parliamentarian, have not treated patients who want to pay for care with cash or card credit. "This seems to me like a lobby, which cannot happen. Let the authorities monitor and prevent this from happening in this state," he said.
