The nomination and recognition granted by the most prestigious award in the travel and tourism industry, with more than 20 years of history, reiterates the undertaking's commitment to offering the highest standards of quality and service in its services.
In 2019 the it was the big winner of the Best Casino and Resort award in South America. This year, the project was nominated in six different categories:
- Best Casino and Resort in South America;
- Best Resort in South America;
- Best Beach Resort in South America;
- Best Resort in Uruguay;
- Best Hotel in Uruguay;
- Best Suite in Uruguay;

We are proud to be a unique entertainment establishment in the region and an important player in promoting the development of tourism in one of the most illustrious resorts in Latin America,” said Ignacio Sarmiento, general manager of Enjoy Punta del Este.
Among the recent improvements promoted by Enjoy, it can be highlighted the renovation of the casino, the opening of the OVO Nightclub in 2014, the hippest nightclub in Punta del Este, and the OVO Beach parador in 2015. In 2019, the resort opened a large, modern heated pool of international standards.
Furthermore, in response to its role as a local and international reference company, Enjoy Punta del Este focused on promoting sustainable policies and responsible environmental management.
In this way, it was distinguished in 2019 and 2020 with the Energy Efficiency Certificate (CEE), an award granted by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining to energy efficiency measures successfully implemented by candidates, in an effort to contribute to achieving the goal established in the National Energy Efficiency Plan 2015-2024.
In the two editions of CEE, the resort presented measures to replace traditional lighting fixtures with LED technology implemented in 2016 (CEE2018) and 2018 (CEE2019), a significant project carried out in all its facilities.
This initiative, in turn, is part of another set of actions that aim to comply with the principles of the Sustainability Program that the establishment carries out with the objective of preserving the environment and taking care of natural resources.
Meanwhile, in a clear demonstration of its efforts to develop new lines of business
capable of adapting to current times, to the most diverse social, economic and health contexts and to the needs of users, the resort developed EnjoyWin.net, an online gaming platform in the "Social Casino" format.
