‘O Galo’ settled its conflict with the bank

Betano debuts as Atlético's master sponsor, Bmg went on the back of the jersey

After the impasse due to a conflict with Banco Bmg when Betano announced it was its new master sponsor, Atlético agreed with the old partner and the Greek sports betting house to display the betting brand on its jersey this Sunday in victory 3 -1 against Atlético-GO, in Mineirão, for the 30th round of the Brazilian Championship. Atlético and the financial institution signed another contract for the brand to leave the noblest part of the uniform and go to the back, above the number.

In addition to having the main space in the 'Galo' jersey, the betting house also had a presence in advertising posters behind the goals and especially with an imposing plot on the ceilings of the substitute benches of great impact for TV broadcasts.

According to Atlético, the change in sponsorships occurs for the main male team and the under-20 team. As for the under-17, under-15 and Galo Feminino rosters, Bmg will continue to appear in front of the shirts, as a master sponsor. The new link between Atlético and Bmg will be valid until 2026.

According to the ‘alvinegro’ club, new sponsorship possibilities are being studied with Bmg. "It is a privilege to have a partner like Bmg," stated Atlético president Sérgio Coelho in an interview with the club's official website.
