FURIA’s co-founder André Akkari spoke to The Esports Observer about the deal: “It is another movement that meets everything we want to build in FURIA. We are in relationships with the biggest brands from each segment and adding Red Bull to the portfolio shows that FURIA is on the right track.”
Financial details were not disclosed, but Akkari affirmed that FURIA is “very happy with the contract and even happier with the possibilities of a long-term relationship with Red Bull.”
He also revealed that product placement activities are planned, but, he said, “In fact, it wouldn’t even be necessary because we genuinely consume Red Bull in FURIA. The product is endemic to our lives.”
Akkari added details about the strategy of the organization with its partners, saying it is based on long-term thinking and that the organization’s “utmost concern is always to reach our partners’ KPIs and make their relationship with the FURIA fanbase as organic and genuine as possible.”
Red Bull joins PokerStars, Unilever’s shampoo Clear, Nike, betting website Rivalry, monitor brand AOC, HyperX, LEGION by Lenovo, Aimlab, payment method GamersCard, Twitch, and supplement brand Whiz, as FURIA’s sponsors.
