LeoVegas Group granted renewed licences in Denmark

LeoVegas Group has been granted renewed licences by the Danish Gambling Authority, Spillemyndigheden, for a new term of five years, which enables the company to continue offering online casino and sports betting in Denmark until 2026. “I am thrilled that LeoVegas can continue to offer our customers in Denmark the greatest gaming experience, as a responsible and sustainable operator,” comments CEO Gustaf Hagman.

The Danish Gambling Authority has granted LeoVegas Group two renewed five-year licences to offer online casino and sports betting in the country.

Since being granted its first Danish licence in 2016, the group has grown to be one of the largest operators in the Danish market with its LeoVegas brand.

Commenting on the news, Gustaf Hagman, Group CEO at LeoVegas Group said: “Our Danish launch was one of our most successful, and the fact that we are now one of the largest operators in this market is testament to that.”

LeoVegas’ strategy is to grow in locally regulated markets and soon to be regulated markets.

The company also holds licences in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Schleswig-Holstein in Germany, Ireland, and Malta.
