Now it's official. Vasco da Gama signed late yesterday afternoon (19), a contract until the end of 2022 with bookmaker PixBet, which becomes the master sponsor of the São Januário club.
“I would like to welcome PixBet and say that we are very happy with this new sponsorship, bringing new revenue to the club and building an ever stronger Vasco. It is important to highlight that the entire negotiation was carried out with total transparency with our partners. Vasco, with the strength of our shirt, PixBet and the most engaged fans in Brazil certainly make a great team,” celebrates the president of Vasco, Jorge Salgado.
After signing the contract, held at VascoTV's studio Aberlardo Chacrinha Barbosa in São Januário, Tadeu Dantas, CEO of PixBet, highlighted Vasco's history and moment as determinants for the partnership: “The deal between PixBet and Vasco da Gama came about at a crucial moment in the season. It is a club through which we admire the greatness of the sport's history and hope to collect many achievements, growing more and more together with the Giant of the Hill.”
Representing both parties when signing the contract were presente: Jorge Salgado (President of Vasco); Tadeu Dantas (PixBet’s CEO); Junior Farias (also PixBet’s CEO); Luiz Mello (Vasco CEO); Vitor Roma (Vasco Marketing VP); Fabio Monterosso (Vasco's Marketing Manager); and representatives of Esportecom, the agency that brokered the negotiation.
“Being part of the Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama is an achievement as great as the team itself. We hope it will be a successful partnership with many titles ahead. Greetings from Vasco to the fans who have already hosted PixBet,” celebrated the also CEO of PixBet Júnior Farias.
With the new commercial agreement, and with a previous contractual guarantee, the BMG brand, which used to be the master property on the team’s football jersey, now occupies the (upper) back of the uniform.
