Betcris took two awards during the event. The gaming operator was the winner in the Employer of the Year and Leader of the Year categories. CEO JD Duarte was awarded, highlighting his vision and work at the head of a company that continues to grow. The company was also recognized with the silver award in the Sponsorship of the Year and Bookmaker of the Year categories.

Pragmatic Play also had reason to celebrate. The company was chosen as the Casino & Games Supplier of the Year. “This award recognizes the execution of our strategy to be the number one provider in this hugely exciting region. We have so much more to offer in the LATAM market and we can't wait to build on our success,” expressed Víctor Arias in Miami upon receiving the distinction. The company also added a silver award as the Virtual Sports Supplier of 2021.
The judges chose Betconstruct as the winner in the Acquisition & Retention Partner category. “This is one more evidence of our competitive products and services, and the hard work of our big team. Thanks to the jury,” wrote the company on its social networks. Betconstruct was also recognized with the Silver award in the Industry Innovation of the Year category.
Genius Sports Group won the top prize in the Sports Data / Live Betting Product category. “It is an honor to represent such an incredible company and to be recognized by the industry itself. We know it is an award to a great effort from the entire team that makes up Genius Sports Group. We want to share it and enjoy it with everyone who made it possible,” said Alonso Jibaja, Senior Business Development Manager LATAM, in Miami.

For its part, Vibra Gaming, a Latin-American gaming and platform development company formed mainly focused on the region, was chosen as “Rising Star In Sports Betting & Casino” of the year. “Closing the year with such recognition from the SBC Awards Latin America and industry colleagues is a great pleasure for us. Betsson Group was another of the big winners of the night. The European platform that also has its own operations in Brazil was chosen as the best in the Sponsorship of the Year category while it won the silver award in Casino Operator of the Year and Employer of the Year.

For its part, Pinnacle Solutions, the B2B arm of Pinnacle sportsbook, won the silver award in the Esports Supplier of the Year category.
The annual awards are designed to recognize the achievements of operators, affiliates and providers from across the gaming industry and highlight the contributions they make to the improvement and growth of the industry.
The SBC Awards Latinoamérica ceremony took place on October 28 at the JW Marriott Marquis in Miami. The event was attended by more than 600 representatives of the gaming industry and experts. The awards ceremony was part of the SBC Awards Latinoamérica, which took place on October 27 and 28 prior to the awards ceremony.
The awards were the culmination of a successful SBC Awards Latinoamérica edition that ran for two days. Several executives and representatives from various companies attended this important event, allowing the firms to have greater access to more industry inside information and networking opportunities, as well as mutually beneficial interaction.
