Sources close to the protagonists did not speak of exact amounts, but Galvão Bueno does not usually negotiate fees for less than R$ 1 million (US$185k). It is the first deal by the presenter of Bem, Amigos!, from SporTV, with something related to football betting. Other companies, such as Sportingbet.TV, Betfair.net and Sportsbet.io, are already frequent advertisers for breaks in sports broadcasts and shows that Galvão commands at Grupo Globo.
With Pixbet, Galvão will have the mission of introducing the company to the Brazilian market. Little known, Pixbet promises instant payment, much faster than its competitors. The football stand also started sponsoring clubs last month; already signed with Vasco.
It is Galvão's eighth advertising agreement since March, when it was officially authorized by Globo to trade commercial shares. In all, Galvão already has campaigns on the air with companies like WhatsApp, TikTok, 99, EQI Investimentos, Banco Santander, Ambev and Postos Petrobras.
In a recent exclusive interview with Notícias da TV, Galvão explained the criteria he adopts to make commercials. "I have my criteria for what I understand should be correct: there is no political bias, no ideological bias. None of that. I say: 'As long as it is respectful, within the truth of the facts, let it not be no fantasy and that nothing is being invented'", he stated.
