Bahia Deputy Bacelar, who has constantly positioned himself on the legalization of all gaming verticals in Brazil, confirmed this week his participation in the Brazilian iGaming Summit - The iGaming Intelligence Made in Brazil, the only face-to-face meeting of the sector to take place in the country since the first quarter of 2020.
The event intends to bring to the discussion, through panels and lectures, the current stage of the gaming sector in Brazil, with the already confirmed participation of important names from the national and international scene, such as the Lottery Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Gustavo Guimarães, and the Senior Vice President of Hotel & Casino at Hard Rock International, Alex Pariente.
Now, the meeting gains even more shine due to the confirmation of Deputy Bacelar, one of the parliamentarians who most understands about gaming in Brazil and president of the Working Group of the Regulatory Framework for Gaming in the country, created by the president of the Chamber Arthur Lira.
Both Bacelar and the WG rapporteur, Deputy Felipe Carreras (PSB-PE), has been speaking about the importance of discussing the regulation of the activity in Brazil and committed to finishing the report that revises Bill 442/91 by the end of November.
Therefore, expectations are high regarding Bacelar's participation in the Brazilian iGaming Summit, as the WG will be able to supply the deputy with important and very current information for his participation in BiS. It is to be expected that, with the report by Deputy Felipe Carreras having been completed, Bacelar presents a little of its content and brings consistent information regarding the vote on the Regulatory Framework for Gaming in Brazil.
