The Brazilian Free Fire star was named "Personality of the Year" in what is considered the "Oscar" of electronic sports, last Saturday (20) in Arlington, United States, where Brazilians were present in 12 nominations in 34 categories. Nobru is one of the best known names in the Brazilian sports scene. World champion of Free Fire with Corinthians in 2019, he decided to create his organization, Fluxo, which ended up becoming one of the largest in the country in a short time. In his acknowledgment video, Nobru stated that he “did not even have words” and said that he will be present again at the event next year, promising to maintain the “high level of competitiveness”. The player also thanked his family and fans.

In addition to Nobru, who was also awarded at the event was Free Fire itself, winning in the category of “Mobile Game of the Year”, beating important titles such as PUBG Mobile, Wild Rift, Clash Royale and others.
