BtoBet to support Flutter and Grupo Globo in Brazil

Aspire Global’s BtoBet, a leading sportsbook provider, will be providing FanDuel, part of Flutter Entertainment, with its cutting-edge Player Account Management platform as the operator join forces with Grupo Globo’s Cartola FC brand to offer daily fantasy sports (DFS) in Brasil. “The agreement with FanDuel is yet another significant step towards our objective of establishing strong positions in the US and Brazil,” comments Tsachi Maimon, CEO at Aspire Global.

FanDuel and BtoBet will power an extension of Cartola FC’s current product suite that will include the launch of a paid DFS platform in Brazil, Cartola Express.

Grupo Globo is the largest media conglomerate in Brazil. The network is made up of a number of companies that create, produce and distribute high-quality content across multiple platforms. Its news, sports and entertainment programs reach 99.6% of the Brazilian population and its linear channels speak directly to more than 100 million people in Brazil every day.

The deal is the latest for BtoBet in the Latin American region, and an extension of its collaboration with Flutter Entertainment, a global sports-betting and gaming company. After the regulation of the Colombian market in 2016, BtoBet has established itself as the leading sportsbook provider in the country and in October last year Betfair – part of Flutter Entertainment – chose to enter the Colombian market with BtoBet’s solution.

Aaron Champagne, New Markets Director at FanDuel said: “We are excited to extend our partnership with BtoBet for the use of their Player Account Management to offer our Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) product in Brazil.”

We look forward to working closely with BtoBet, and through our shared commitment to offer a unique DFS experience to local players,” Champagne added.

Tsachi Maimon, CEO at Aspire Global, said: “The agreement with FanDuel is yet another significant step towards our objective of establishing strong positions in the US and Brazil. Our success in these markets will be important steps in reaching our goal to become a world leading B2B iGaming supplier.”
