On Friday (26) afternoon, the Federal Deputy from Minas Gerais, Newton Cardoso Jr, confirmed to the organization of the Brazilian iGaming Summit that he will join the list of numerous authorities to honor the event and bring all their knowledge about the gaming activity in Brazil.
In addition to having a deep knowledge of the sector, the deputy has constantly expressed himself in favor of the sector throughout the media and the confirmation of his participation in BiS demonstrates Newton Cardoso Jr.'s dedication to the WG of the Regulatory Framework for Gaming in Brazil, since the exchange of experiences during the event will further enrich his baggage of information about the activity to contribute to the revision of Bill 442/91 in Chamber of Deputies.
In a recent manifestation at a public hearing at the Chamber's Tourism Committee, Newton Cardoso Jr supported the regulation of the gaming sector in Brazil, categorically stating that the country does not prohibit gaming, but rather employment and wealth.
“We see gaming spread all over the country's streets and it's time for people to formalize their Jobs, and at the same time ensure the development of tourism in the country. This sector, which today has great potential for generating jobs, will greatly reduce the 15 million unemployed. It is a matter of national sovereignty we approve this cause,” he said.
The deputy will participate in the first panel of the second day of the event, "Positive Aspects of Regulation", which will be moderated by Luiz Felipe Maia (FYMSA) and will feature the President of the Regulatory Framework GT, Deputy Bacelar (Pode-BA), Waldir Eustáquio Marques Jr. (Secap/ME) and Magno José (IJL).
