Erick Mendez - Of course, these events are needed to bring operators, platforms, content providers and regulators together to find understanding, work in sync and provide plaers with a safe and fun experience.
Can the strength of BiS and its dissemination in the media help to understand that this industry should be legalized for the benefit of the country?
Each well-focused effort is worthwhile, if we add voices to that effort, share knowledge and experience, in a market that operates under an adequate legal framework that includes quality content and certifications that provide the player with a safe and fun experience 24/7.
What topics would you like to develop on your panel during the event?
Live Dealer and share with operators and regulators information about our products, the quality and virtues that distinguish them, how they benefit operators as a growing vertical, a great acquisition tool that contributes to the growth of operators and a quality offer.
How do you analyze Brazil's growth this year specifically in the gaming market segment where you work and specialize? What are your expectations for 2022?
We have high expectations in Brazil for 2022; we are already working to be able to offer localized content with user-friendly interfaces that exceed players' expectations. A market of great opportunities!
At what point do you see the local gaming market in general and its evolution in 2021 from a political and regulatory perspective?
Gaining approvals in regulated markets around the world is at the heart of our growth strategy, and entering Brazil further establishes Evolution as the leading provider of live casinos in Latin America and beyond.
We have identified that LATAM has enormous growth potential and Brazil in particular as a key market where the live casino will enjoy incredible traction and engagement as it continues to mature.
Were the results of your company's work this year as expected? Do you have plans in Brazil to grow and contribute more to the local market?
Last year's results have been excelente. Evolution is looking to Brazil as part of its efforts to establish itself as the number one provider of "Live Dealer" content in Latin America.
In the most recent discussions about gaming activity in Brazil, the main players believe that the country is closer than ever to regulation. Do you share the same opinion? Do you believe it is possible to approve all game verticals in Brazil during this next year?
We have seen great advances and remain very optimistic about the progress of regulation, it is important that regulators take into account all the main verticals so that they work under an adequate regulatory framework that allows operators to offer a competitive and quality catalogue.
All about the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS)
Due to the health crisis, several events, trade shows and congresses had to be postponed or even canceled throughout 2020 and 2021; however, with the advance of immunization across the country, things are slowly returning to normality. Thus, the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS) will take place at Espaço Boulevard JK, in São Paulo, on December 1st and 2nd with the strategic partnership of Games Magazine Brasil, and will be attended by investors and entrepreneurs from diferente sectors such as sports betting, communication, affiliates, lotteries and regulators. For the first time, it will take place in a hybrid model, with real-time broadcasts and big screens spread throughout the conference space.
To ensure the safety of guests, event organizers will respect all recommended health safety protocols. With this, BiS will be the return point of in-person events for the gaming sector in Brazil and a great opportunity to connect entrepreneurs of the gaming market to the country's political personalities and actors involved in the regulation process.
