October shows a 18% drop in sportsbook interactions in Brazil

October had the lowest number of interactions in the last six months in the universe of interactions referring to profiles in Portuguese for the Brazilian sports betting market. In total, 395,000 interactions, a drop of 18% from the total reached in September. The month marks another drop in performance on Facebook, where Bodog is comfortably ranked 1st in the list. KTO occupies 3rd place in the Twiiter’s Top 10.

The October mark is only 38% of the total obtained in July, amidst the Copa America and the Tokyo Olympics, which reached 1.04 million interactions.

Facebook in precipitous fall

The month marks another drop in performance on Facebook. This time, big. The social network that had been growing after a fall in July, dropped to its worst rate ever and reached only 15,400 interactions, 14,400 of which referring to Bodog Brasil.

Facebook, from what is seen, becomes obsolete for the universe of sports betting houses in Brazil.

Another factor that draws attention to this scenario were the 306 posts in the month, the lowest rate since May when this Monitoring Ranking was created by Samba Digital.

Besides Bodog, in the Top 10 appear Betmotion (4th), Betsul (6th), LeoVegas (7th) and Estadium (8th), among others.
 



Twitter ranks fourth

The numbers recorded by Twitter are far away from Facebook. With 166,000 interactions and more than 6,100 posts, Twitter has been dropping after a jump from 174,000 to 542,000 in July.

On the social network, Sportsbet.io, for the sixth time in a row, kept the lead, but this time, with a much smaller difference with Betway. While in September the difference was almost 90,000 interactions, in October it dropped to just over 19,000.

It is worth noting that Betway invests heavily in posts and was the betting house that posted the most: 1687. In other words: 27.6% of the total. In every four posts from a sports bookmaker in Brazil, one is from Betway. For comparison, SportsBet.io posted 564 posts in the month. 1123 less.

On Twitter, with a greater presence of companies, there is also the growth of FogoBet, now in 6th place with 1242 interactions, and AmuletoBet with 875.

Compared to September, Sportsbet.io (1st), Betway (2nd), KTO Brasil (3rd), LuckyBeting (4th) and Betano (5th) kept the top five places in terms of interactions.

The October Twitter Top 10 also showcases AmuletoBet (7th), NetBet (8th), Betsson (9th) and Betmotion (10th).

In the spotlight: Instagram

The month of October features 213,000 interactions. The social network is, also in the segment of sports betting houses, the one that attracts the most attention and generates interactions between Brazilian profiles.

Despite this, compared to September, it registered 45,000 fewer interactions. That is: 15.4% less. This could be noticed in the performance of the leader Sportsbet.io: 68,000 less interactions and 4 more posts (105 x 109 in October).

Sponsor of the Copa Libertadores, which reaches its final stage, Betfair.net beat Betano Brasil. Both houses showed growth on Instagram. Betfair, the new runner-up, jumped to 27,000 interactions and an increase of 12,000 compared to September.

Betano, sponsor of Atlético-MG, potential Brazilian champion in 2021, in addition to Fluminense, grew 8,000 interactions and jumped from 16 to 24 thousand.

Who did not appear in September and returned to the Ranking in October was Dafabet: 6,400 interactions and 41 posts. As the average of posts among the 10+ was 58 in October, Dafabet has a good direct interaction rate.

NetBet appears in 4th place with 17,000 interactions, Estadium (5th, 7,400 interactions) and KTO (8th – 4,700).
