GMB - What concepts has Zest adopted for the realization of BiS 2021?
Vivian Lima - Zest sees the events it organizes in a different and unique way, as we are the result of the union of four complex stories, four different profiles, four unique personalities who have mastered the art of working together. We celebrate our own diversity and have over 10 years of excellence and success in building events and experiences.
Like BiS, Zest was born in an unusual and almost organic way, but it started out full of strength, identity and purpose. Zest means energy and enthusiasm, and that is exactly how Zest Eventos made BiS.
Were these concepts understood by the organizers and how did the exhibitors respond to the invitation to be present at the event?
We feel that both our organizing partners, as well as exhibitors and participants, embraced this opportunity to meet in person with great enthusiasm.
The trust in us from the founders was one of the event's differentials, as everyone has been present in the sector for many years.
How was the organization of the panels and which topics did you find most attractive to the market?
When we thought about the event's agenda, we knew that our biggest challenge would be to bring practical and current issues. Having the opening held by Secretary Gustavo Guimarães, addressing the positive impact of the gaming sector on the Brazilian economy was essential to set the "tone" of the event.
During the first day, we discussed issues such as the importance of using Brazilian intelligence to succeed in our country, as well as the possibilities that already exist and are little explored.
In addition, by approaching well-known subjects such as the lottery and gambling as entertainment under a new light, BiS 2021 managed to incorporate innovation and technology into already-known guidelines.
The opening of the second day of the event was epic: a high-level panel on the positive aspects of the regulation of the sector, with the participation of Federal Deputies João Carlos Bacelar Batista and Newton Cardoso Jr., who work in the Working Group that analyzes the Project of the Regulatory Framework for Gaming in Brazil.
And all topics were permeated by the great concern of the sector's main players with Responsible Gaming.
How do you evaluate the event?
The first edition of BiS exceeded all expectations, both from the organizers, as well as from the exhibitors and participants. When starting the project, we had planned the participation of 250 people and closed the event with more than 600 unique delegates.
I spoke personally with each of the exhibitors who were at the event. The feedback was exceptional and, even with the possibility of improvement in some points, I can say that we had 100% approval from the companies.
What are the expectations for the realization of BiS 2022? Will you be responsible for organizing the event next year?
Zest is one of the co-founders and partner of BiS, and we will be leading the event in 2022. Our expectation is to deliver a large fair, held in a pavilion, with greater participation by national and international companies and wide visitation. The type of event that Brazil not only deserves, but has the potential to do so.
What is your final message to exhibitors, speakers and attendees?
On behalf of Zest Eventos, a partner at Jerichó Produções, I would like to thank everyone who participated in BiS. The event could only be considered a success due to the presence and trust of each one of you. We would like to say that Zest, in addition to having a deep knowledge of the gaming industry, also creates experiences and corporate events for the market throughout Latin America.
