Bandeirantes gives wide coverage to BiS, shows strength of the Brazilian gaming sector

The gaming sector in Brazil is increasingly attracting the attention of players around the world, as the country is a great promise of big business for operators and guarantees the generation of hundreds of thousands of jobs and many millions of reais in taxes. And with the Brazilian iGaming Summit, another giant was awakened. Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação was present at the event and its coverage of BiS reached the TV’s of millions of Brazilians.

Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação has always been in favor of the gaming sector and was present throughout the Brazilian iGaming Summit, interviewing many of the industry's actors, including sector authorities, such as the Ministry of Economy's Evaluation and Lottery Secretary, Gustavo Guimarães.

In addition, Paulo Saad, Grupo Bandeirantes' VP of Pay Channels, participated in lectures at the congress and also won an honorary award for his work in favor of gaming regulation in Brazil.

During BiS, the Group's TV station circulated throughout the event, covering the presentations of the lectures and panels, as well as interviewing some of the main market players and authorities.

In the report, Gustavo Guimarães confirmed that Secap's work ahead of discussions on the regulation of sports betting is advancing and that it "involves actors from various spheres", reinforcing the importance of accelerating this work and "promoting regulation as soon as possible."
 


The TV network highlighted, in a report of almost four minutes broadcasted nationally, the growth that sports betting has been having in Brazil and the importance of regulating the activity.

The Grupo Bandeirantes VP, Paulo Saad, talked about this and stated that “it is time for the Congress and the Executive to put an end to this hypocrisy and failure, to bring the market to light so that it becomes a large market and gives benefits to society as a whole.”

The report also highlighted that “the resort casinos sector foresees a collection of between R$ 16 and 18 billion from the regulation, not to mention the investments that the enterprises will have to undergo. Another important issue is job creation. The projection indicates the creation of 650 thousand direct and another 600 thousand indirect.”
