“Thank you very much to Felipe, Mancha and everyone who somehow helped me to get this chair,” thanked Alex Paulo Braga de Oliveira, resident of Américo Brasiliense, who received a motorized wheelchair.
This was the last action of the year carried out by Live Solidária, a non-profit project started by the influencer Felipe Joioso in January 2021 to collect food baskets. By the end of this year, the project will have helped around 30,000 families in Brazilian cities such as Américo Brasilisense, the birthplace of Joioso, Araraquara, Santa Lúcia, Rincão and Motuca.
The action, with the support of the companies NetBet, Vcréditos and Coffeenware, collected 10 tons of food, in addition to a motorized wheelchair, crutches and an orthosis, which will be distributed in the cities of Américo Brasiliense, Santa Lucia, Rincão, Motuca nas Santas Casas de Araraquara, São Carlos and Matão.
There were more than 10,000 food baskets, 1,000 liters of milk, cookies, more than 4,000 Easter eggs, totaling 10 tons of food, in addition to cleaning and personal hygiene products, toys, a ton of pet food, a chair for motorized wheels, three crutches and an orthosis.
"We will close the year with the certainty that we are doing good for our community. Our goal for 2022 is to benefit 50,000 families with food, entertainment and professional training. The Live Solidária project is only possible thanks to the collaboration of friends who are willing to help. My special thanks to Léo Sarti, Léo Cunha, Renan Santos, Leandro Mancha and Robson Souza Brito. Together we are helping to bring food to the table of those in need, as well as a little entertainment and fun,” concludes Joioso.
