The company considered the fact that PMIP has worldwide reach and that, given the evolutionary stage of the pandemic caused by the new coronavirus and the restrictions on the movement of people imposed by several countries, a longer period for the submission of authorization requirements will guarantee more security for all and a greater number of stakeholders.
“With the PMIP we intend to receive several proposals for implementing the lottery service in order to define the best format for its exploitation,” stated the president of MAPA, Antonio Nunes.
“Therefore, we need to be aware of market scenarios, without excluding the pandemic factor and its restrictions. We have narrowed the dialogue with the sector, and we are certain that this extension is necessary,” Nunes added.
In addition to the extension of the deadline, the notice was amended with changes regarding the documentation required of participants. The complete information of the announcement and its updates are available on the MAPA website (https://mapa.ma.gov.br).
