New Clarion’s platform

ICE Connect digital market-place secures buyers with budgets totalling £100m

ICE Connect, the algorithm based digital market-place that was unveiled by Clarion Gaming in February, has swiftly captured the imagination of the international gambling community. Within weeks of being announced, the platform, that scientifically matches senior level decision makers with industry leading solution providers, has signed-up vetted buyers with a combined cap ex budget of £100m.

ICE Connect Europe takes place across June 21 to 25 with the dedicated ICE Connect North America running from June 28 to July 2.

The invitation-only Executive Programme is being curated by California-based Quartz Events which was acquired by Clarion in 2020 and is the fastest growing producer of invitation-only executive summits, with 80% of Fortune 100 companies participating in their events last year.

Toby Harris, Founder and CEO of Quartz Events, believes ICE Connect is ideally positioned to meet the needs of the gambling industry and complement its early adopter status.

The launch of ICE Connect represents the third time in six-months that we’ve taken our market-leading platform into a new sector. We have some outstanding success stories, but our entry into the international gambling market has still surpassed all of our expectations,” Harris explained.

Early registrants for the European edition have committed a combined £100m to new technology over the upcoming 18 months – many of them representing organisations with annual revenues of more than £1bn,” he added.

We are delighted to experience such a positive response so early on and to be receiving such a broad cross-section of registrations across land-based, online and omni-channel. The figures demonstrate both the community’s trust in the ICE brand and the appetite that exists for this unique, solutions-driven service,” Harris concluded.

The ICE Connect model uses highly sophisticated matching algorithms, ranking and scheduling software, to match operators with relevant, industry-leading solution providers who can solve their challenges and help them run their operations more efficiently. As a result, both delegates and solution providers spend 100% of their time in meaningful and productive meetings
