The internet traffic analysis company Semrush has just started a series of publications with a study on which websites are most visited in Brazil. According to the company, from now on, the list will be updated monthly so that interested parties can follow all changes in the market and identify changes in the user's interest.
Especially at this time of pandemic, analysis of the flow of visits on the Internet can better identify the interests of users as well as alert sites that do not appear in good positions that need to pay attention to low visitation rates.
The Semrush study points out the 100 most visited sites and two companies focused on the gambling area are in the Top 50. Bet365 appears in 19th place with a monthly traffic of 130.4 million visits and almost 3 pages viewed per visit. In addition, the strongest data is the time spent on the site that Bet365 managed: 25:04 minutes. In the TOP100 only YouTube with 27:56 minutes managed to overcome it.
In turn, ojogodobicho.com, the results site for the most popular game in Brazil, ranks 35th. It is worth remembering that the game is illegal in the country although the practice is impossible to control by public security agencies. In February, the site reached 68.5 million page views, with an average of 1.5 per user and a 15:58 minute stay on the site.
Both sites appear ahead of major news portals, e-commerce, and government agency sites. Sites such as Netflix, Microsoft and Linkedin, appear lower than the two linked to the gambling sector.
Some highlights on the list are state government websites that have been most in favor of social distance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The São Paulo state government website appears in 6th place, behind only Google, of the two news portals in Brazil (globo.com and uol.com.br), Facebook, which appears in 4th place, and YouTube, in the 5th position.
The websites www.bet365.com and www.ojogodobicho.com are the only ones in the gambling sector included in the Semrush study. As the main bookmakers have been seeking greater visibility in the Brazilian gaming market, the study should be quite interesting so that they understand ways to follow to increase visits and, with that, engage more players to their websites.
