Betsul renews sponsorship contract with Sao Paulo for one more year

Hours before the match against Red Bull Bragantino, for the State’s football championship, the marketing department of popular Brazilian club Sao Paulo renewed a sponsorship contract with the sports betting site Betsul. The sponsor's logo will be on the shorts of the uniform of the male and female professional football and basketball teams, as part of the ‘Tricolor’ strategy of enhancing the brand in Olympic sport. The agreement celebrates the good relationship between the parties.

“The renovation shows that Sao Paulo has credibility in the market, that's what made Betsul extend the partnership. We are happy and satisfied with the new sponsorship. Other negotiations are still underway within the new policy of enhancing our brand,” said club’s President Julio Casares to the ‘Tricolor’ website.

The club that plays local games at mythical Morumbi stadium will stamp the company logo on the shorts of the men's, women's and basketball teams. The Betsul brand will already appear in this Paulistão championship.

The agreement celebrates the good relationship between the parties. The contract with Betsul had ended in February, but Sao Paulo kept talking and managed to make a new commitment with the betting site.

Eduardo Toni, Sao Paulo's marketing director, said that the club is still looking for new sponsorship deals for the uniform. It is worth mentioning that the club has been without master sponsorship since the departure of the bank Inter, in February this year.

“We are talking to various market segments and partners to help us boost and reposition our brand. Betsul is an example of this. Sao Paulo has to look for sponsors who understand the size of the club, and that is what we are doing,” said Toni.
