Sponsored by Deloitte Private and The Wall Street Journal, the program has seen hundreds of private companies competing for the designation via an independent process that evaluates four key criteria in their management skills and practices — strategy, execution, culture and financials. Eligible companies must have revenues of at least US$250 million.

The 2021 US Best Managed Companies program saw 49 companies honored from a field of over 500 applicants and 70 finalists.
Hard Rock International boasts 239 venues in 68 countries around the world, including owned, licensed or managed hotels, casinos, Rock Shops, live venues and cafés. It also continues to maintain an interest in developing an integrated resort in Japan where it had set up base in Hokkaido.
