Clark County in Southern Nevada, which includes the Las Vegas Valley and Laughlin, is allowing businesses to increase capacity from 50% to 80%. It also reduced the social distancing measures from six feet to three feet.
Clark County will allow businesses and casinos to increase capacity to 100%. It will only be once 60% of the area’s eligible population receives at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Customers can then avoid social distancing measures.
Governor Steve Sisolak announced that he was turning the COVID-19 vaccine mitigation efforts over to county officials. Still, the Gaming Control Board had oversight of the casino business.
