Rio de Janeiro’s racetrack reopens betting shop, receives public from May 2

According to the current flexibilities of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, the Jockey Club Brasileiro (JCB) has scheduled the reopening of the Tribuna A betting shop for tomorrow (28) and the return of the public at Hipódromo da Gávea / Tribuna Social starting this Sunday (2). The betting shop is open daily from 11am until 9pm. The programs with days and times of races in Gávea can be checked weekly on the official website.

Access throughout the racetrack remains conditioned to the proper and mandatory use of protective masks, temperature measurement, hand hygiene with 70% alcohol and other measures widely publicized on JCB's communication channels, reinforced below.

The JCB counts on people’s support and clarifies that the releases may be revised in the event of a change in the official rules that regulate the situation of the coronavirus pandemic or if any risk to the health of visitors, employees and professionals is identified.
