As reported by CIBELAE, with this step both institutions strengthen their collaboration in terms of training and implementation of good practices in the lottery and gambling sector, promoting the improvement, modernization and optimization of state recreational activity.
LOTEP, the first lottery of a Brazilian state to join CIBELAE, is an autonomous institution of the Government of the State of Paraíba, linked to the Ministry of Tourism and Economic Development. It was created on April 2, 1955 by Governor José Américo de Almeida, and ratified in 1956 by President Juscelino Kubitschek.
“A little over 8 months ago we started a new stage that brought with it reforms and improvements both in our physical spaces and in the organizational structure. LOTEP offers the residents of Paraiba not only lottery services, but also results that provide social benefits to the entire population,” said the Lottery through a statement.
“Our membership with CIBELAE is one more step in our development as an institution dedicated to social welfare. If LOTEP advances, the State of Paraíba advances much more,” concluded the entity.
