Fluminense agreed with bookmaker Betano as its new master sponsor

After almost three years, Fluminense has a new master sponsor. The club signed a partnership with Betano, the international online sports betting platform that also sponsored the Carioca Championship and is the master of Atlético-MG. The contract will be valid for two seasons and will yield around R$ 16 million (US$ 3m) to the club's coffers. The brand will already stamp Fluzão's jersey in the match for the Copa do Brasil, this Wednesday (2), at Maracana stadium.

The company is a partner of several clubs in Europe, such as SC Braga and CS Marítimo, in Portugal; Universitatea Craiova and FSCB, in Romania; Olympiacos FC and PAOK FC, in Greece; and Apollon Limassol and Pafos, in Cyprus. The master sponsor was one of Mário Bittencourt's campaign promises, who had been struggling to fill the space. The agent claimed that the companies did not offer what Fluminense deserves to earn and was being charged for it.

We are on the right path, seeking to expand our brand and we will have a Master who has understood this project,” said Bittencourtt to celebrate the arrival of the new partnership.
