Sportsbet.io strengthens partnerships with Imperial, assumes naming rights of the entire team

The successful union between Imperial - one of the most relevant teams in the eSports scene in Brazil - along with Sportsbet.io, the global betting site authority on cryptocurrency transactions, is nothing new. But Sportsbet.io now takes on the naming rights of all teams, of all Imperial video games. In addition to CS:GO, the betting site now sponsors Valorant, FreeFire and Crossfire teams: the entire eSports team of the Brazilian team.

One of the main changes in this new sponsorship will be the move that Imperial is already planning for this year. The CS:GO team is packed and ready to move its HQ to North America, in particular the city of Monterrey, Mexico. The strategy is part of the idea of ​​internationalization of the brand and the team, which now has greater focuses and objectives, mainly related to the Majors that take place in the region. Because it is a border city with Texas, the choice turned out to be quite strategic.

In addition to the incentives, Sportsbet.io will now have a leading role even in Imperial's new visual identity, which has been completely remodeled and now has characteristics very similar to the visual identity of the betting site, in green with black, and carrying the hashtag #DeuGreen in some communications. It will also incorporate the Sportsbet.io logo on the helmet of the traditional imperial warrior helmet, a reference icon of Imperial in its official coat of arms.

Felippe Martins, CEO of Imperial Sportsbet.io, explains that the partnership grows as trust grows. “Sportsbet was the first to trust our project and this was of great value to the club's management. Since then, we have walked and grown together. Due to the partnership, we were able to advance the initial projection by several years. Something that was planned for the future, will be released later this year, which is our new Gaming Office with 1200 m². During this first year of partnership, we had an imminent growth of Imperial, with the hiring of winning lines and players recognized nationally and worldwide.”

The CEO has already set bold goals. “In the short term, we want to be present with competitive teams in all the main modalities of the market; in the medium, to create greater consolidation as a Tier 1 club in Brazil. In the long run, rank among the greatest in the world.”
