“We are going to add our natural beauty, sun, beach and even those who want to play. Not to mention the benefits for public coffers. There will be billions in tax collection and generation of jobs and income,” he pointed out.
Bacelar also defended the modernization of the “Marca Brasil”, an official brand that, together with the slogan, seeks to build and position the image of the country internationally. “We have to improve our dissemination abroad. The current Marca Brasil does not reflect our real tourism potential.”
Carlos Brito acknowledged all the problems pointed out by Bacelar and, once again, they signed a working partnership. The meeting also aimed to present the activities developed by Embratur to the parliamentarian and also had the participation of the Marketing, Intelligence and Communication directors, Silvio Nascimento, and the Corporate Management director, Edson Queiroz.
“As of July, Embratur returns to the work of international promotion of Brazilian destinations. During the pandemic, after the approval of Law 14.002/2020, we carried out internal promotion with the Ministry of Tourism and, with an institutional partnership of the Chamber's Tourism Commission and its president, Deputy Bacelar, we will continue to seek essential solutions for the development of the sector,” indicated Brito.
“Whatever you need, we are on the Commission to help, so it is very important that we are in continuous contact. Congratulations on your work and always count on us,” concluded Bacelar.
