GLI is recognized as "Best Test Lab" in European and US awards

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has been named ‘Best Test Lab’ in the SAGSE Europe Awards 2020 and in the SAGSE USA Awards 2020. Additionally, the company’s Vice President of Global Marketing and Global Gaming Women President, Christie Eickelman, was named to the list of the Top 5 Land-based Leaders.

Award winners were chosen via online popular vote, and according to event organizers, more than 2,500 regulators, operators, executives, and businesspeople participated in the selection of winners of the SAGSE 2020 rankings, a record number of participants.

Earlier this year, GLI was named ‘Best Test Lab’ in the SAGSE LatAm 2020 Awards.

Vice President of Monografie Alan Burak said: “The SAGSE Europe Awards 2020 and in the SAGSE USA Awards 2020 recognize the companies that best faced the difficulties of a very difficult year, in the midst of a pandemic, and highlight the best representatives of the market.”

GLI CEO, James Maida, commented: “We are grateful to our peers throughout the world who recognized GLI and who recognized Christie with these tremendous honors. The pandemic has been difficult for all of us in the gaming, lottery, and hospitality industries, and together we reinvented our businesses overnight.”

“Though 2020 was one of the most challenging times for our industry and the world, our global team of 1,200 advisers, testing personnel, and security team members continue to work hard to serve the industry and our collective shifting needs,”
Maida added.

In addition to her role at GLI, Eickelman is President of Global Gaming Women, and she has successfully led the organization through the pandemic to an even better financial footing.

“We are so proud of each of our team members and their hard work, and I’m thrilled the industry specifically recognized Christie. Her global impact on countless numbers of individuals and companies will be felt for years to come,” Maida concluded.
