The sophistication of the enterprise can also be seen in sustainability, according to the businessman. For this purpose, it was developed a management system of water generated by hotel guests, through the creation of a water and sewage treatment plant, renewable energy equipment in all units, recycling of organic and solid waste, a program for the preservation of local species, minimal landscape impact architecture, projects to promote the region's cultural identity and sustainability awareness training for local communities and tourists.
With a general sales value estimated at R$900 million (US$ 172m), the project is celebrated by local Tourism authorities, such as state secretary Arialdo Pinho. "Situated in Jijoca de Jericoacoara, this project will open a new destination in the region. In addition, it is an excellent strategic vision of the business," he says in a note released by the project.
The mayor of Jijoca, Lindbergh Martins, and the secretary of Tourism, Juscelino Vasconcelos Mota, also celebrate the project, noting that "an enterprise of this size, in addition to moving the entire production chain and the local economy, allows the business sector to adapt to the new requirements, leading to an improvement in the quality of the workforce and offering a more qualified and professional service, generating more jobs and income for the region as a whole and providing entertainment options, in addition to offering accommodation and differentiated cuisine."
