The news was officially announced on the event's website and Ana will have the role of nominating names and defending why they deserve to be nominated in the various categories of esports. The choice for a Brazilian judge was the tournament's quest to internationalize more of the nominees, who had been mostly Americans.
In 2020, she was among the Esports Awards nominations for best eSports presenter of the year after her performance in the Brazilian League of Free Fire. Previously, she had stints at Blizzard as a narrator and presenter of official Overwatch tournaments.
In an interview with START, Ana reveals about her performance on the jury: "I am very happy to know that, even in the categories already open to the public, I was able to bring names that the judges did not know and that were considered and became finalists. All this does not guarantee that we will be represented in everything and not even that we will gain something, but we can sleep more peacefully knowing that our voice is being heard."
