CBGE was chosen by the Global eSports Federation (GEF) with exclusivity in Brazil to participate in the eSports development process in the American continent and contribute to the recognition of the sport in the Olympic movement.
In addition, CBGE, which is the only Brazilian body affiliated to the GEF, also has a cooperation agreement with the Asian region for the development of the games, technology and innovation market, which involves Southeast Asia and the main game developers and streaming companies.
“CBGE is proud and honored to receive this certificate that attests to our work in terms of technical, administrative and governance capacity. Congratulations to the athletes, teams, board and affiliated federations. It is a joint work that we have been developing since 2019. The fruits will still come for everyone,” said Paulo Ribas, president of CBGE.
Founded in 2019, the entity has professionals in different Brazilian states to establish the legal bases necessary for athletes, clubs and federations to organize championships, webinars and ecosystem activities. Altogether, it has promoted more than 30 tournaments and events focused on different types of electronic sports, such as League of Legends, PUBG, Free Fire, Valorant, CS:GO, among others.
