The draft of the concession contract is expected to last 20 years and is estimated at R$721.9 million (US$ 140m). With the project, the government foresees that the activity will work as an instrument for economic recovery, increasing resources for the DF without having to tax the population.

Contributions can be made between July 14 and August 13, 2021. On the Secretariat for Special Prokects (Sepe) website, interested parties can obtain information on technical, economic-financial and legal modeling studies; the economic-financial evaluation; and the minutes of notice and contract.

Documents can be delivered in three ways. By e-mail to [email protected]; in the Special Projects Secretariat (Room P50 at Palácio do Buriti – Civic-Administrative Zone); or at the public hearing to be held virtually on August 5, between 10 am and 12 pm on the secretariat's website.

The public consultation and hearing are intended to publicize the actions carried out by Sepe, which is at the head of the project, encourage the participation of potential stakeholders in the project and also society, and provide a favorable environment for forwarding claims and suggestions to the lottery project and state games.

The implementation of the Lottery and Games in the Federal District will bring to GDF the collection that will benefit social and cultural areas, as well as security, education and health, without burdening the taxpayer. And, consequently, as a result of the realization of this project, new investments will take place in Brasília,” says the secretary of Special projects, Roberto Andrade.
