The Secretariat of Partnerships of the Government of the State of Sao Paulo extended to August 9 the deadline for companies interested in submitting an authorization request for the preparation of studies to have time to better analyze the Public Call Notice 04/21.
The Management Council of Public-Private Partnerships, linked to the undersecretary, responded, with the extension, to requests from companies in the initial phase of the call. In addition to submitting the authorization request, interested parties must also send the documents mentioned in item 3.3 of Public Call 04/21.
Notice 04/21 presents all the guidelines for the participation procedure and indicates which studies should be carried out by those interested in presenting their analyses.
Last week, some companies interested in participating in the study presentation phase for the implementation and operation of the Sao Paulo Lottery had already questioned whether they could participate in the future competition to define the operator of the activity within the State of Sao Paulo.
In a statement, the Working Group (WG) created to monitor all stages of the project expressed in a statement stating that "all those under authorized Public Call No. 004/2021 will have the prerogative to participate in any bid, regardless of their studies used or not, and, even if there is only one authorized, it may participate in the bidding.”
The project foresees the implementation and operation of lotteries in the State of Sao Paulo, considering the STF decision. The project was included in the State Partnership Program on June 29 by the Working Group established to conduct all the necessary work to formulate the final model of the project.
