"I already knew LOUD for a long time, because I play a lot, my brother follows this world a lot, not only in games, but in music, which LOUD also has. I received a message [from LOUD's profile] congratulating them on their rating, I was even together with Pedro at the time, I showed it to him and said that it was not possible that they had sent a message," Luiz Francisco said.
"Then we started thinking out loud, and exchanging ideas with Jean [one of the LOUD owners] afterwards, I never imagined that one day it would happen. Be part of a gaming team? That's crazy. I used to follow it, I thought it was cool, but I never imagined it would work out. To be part of LOUD today is sensational," added the world runner-up.
"It is crazy to think that we are going to join an eSports team. I have always played, since I was a kid, I have always enjoyed playing, and it has always been on the console, so I never thought about doing lives and such, because it is kind of difficult. Then Luizinho made me buy a PC, and we started to play together, GTA, Valorant. Playing has always been part of my life and now it will be even more so, maybe I will start doing some lives with him, it will be a very funny business," says Quintas.
Luizinho and Quintas met some of LOUD's influencers during the recording sessions for the announcement video and felt embraced by their new teammates. Luizinho confessed that he wanted to meet Victor " Coringa," one of the biggest streamers in the country, and was not disappointed with the reception.
Besides the League of Legends, Free Fire and Fortnite teams, LOUD is known for its wide range of content creation. Recently, the team was the leader in Twitter mentions and became the most followed organization on Instagram - last year, it was the first to hit one billion views on YouTube.
A venture into broadcasting is on the duo's radar. The two have broadcast their matches online on the internet before, but only as a test and nothing too serious - now that promises to change.
"I started to get more interested in turning this thing around, because I always liked it. Because I find it a pain to play alone. And when I come in to play and read the people's comments [in the chat], I laugh, there is no way, one is funnier than the other. And I start to become friends with the guys, that's what's worse. When I see them already having coffee at home," said Luiz Francisco, who also said he has a project to broadcast training sessions and competitive routines.
In the first time skateboarding in the Olympics, Luizinho was excited not only to wear the green and yellow, but also to represent his new home. In addition, the athlete expects the already traditional warm crowd of supporters on social networks.
"We are going to represent Brazil, a whole nation, super warm, and LOUD. As I follow LOUD on Twitter, on game day it is very crazy. It's #goLOUD here, #goLOUD there, and it doesn't stop. I am sure it will be no different, the crowd will embrace it in a totally crazy way. The same way they embrace Baguncinha, the CBLOL, they will embrace skateboarding and we will be able to show that it is a totally different parade of everything," he concluded.
