With the idea of promoting Megaways slots

Brazilian director Alexandre Montenegro creates two films for Betclic's new campaign

Promoting Betclic Megaways slots in Portugal is the aim of the new campaign of the online gaming operator and bookmaker. The two films and a set of digital pieces are produced by Show Off, and directed by the renowned Brazilian director, Alexandre Montenegro. “Megaways slots have more winning combinations and that's why we decided to do something different: more than saying where you can play, the campaign says where you can't play,” says Marcelo Lourenço, creative director of Coming Soon.

Alexandre Montenegro is a producer and director, known for O Grande Iran (1994), Loucuras de Verão (1991) and Dr. Cobaia e Luvinha (1995). As an accomplished Director in all markets he has ventured in Montenegro, who started his career as a puppet manipulator back in São Paulo, Brazil, at the age of thirteen, went to Portugal and has founded Mola Filmes (1996) as well as Show Off Films (2000), both production companies of which he is the Executive Producer of.

Betclic has launched a campaign to promote Megaways slots, warning, however, that there are situations where users should not play like hunting, running away from a murderer, accompanying their wife at the time of delivery or even committing adultery.

The campaign, with the creativity of Coming Soon, will be released this week, having been created two videos that expose more situations where Betclic Megaways slots should not be played.

“Megaways slots have more winning combinations. That's why we decided to make a different campaign, in an inversion of the traditional online gaming campaigns: more than saying where you can play, the campaign says where you can't play, in a series of funny situations like running away from a murderer or accompanying your wife at the time of delivery,” says Marcelo Lourenço, creative director of Coming Soon.

Composed of two films and a set of digital pieces, the campaign is produced by Show Off, and directed by Brazilian Alexandre Montenegro. Post-production is by Mola and the sound was provided by Ameba.
