Under the agreement, Sportradar Integrity Services – who have monitored global betting markets for more than 15 years – will draw upon their considerable experience and expertise to provide bet monitoring and reporting via its Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) for both the ladies and men’s singles and doubles draws, as well as the tournaments mixed doubles matches.
The UFDS is an advanced and proven bet monitoring system that has been independently assessed and verified by recognized experts in the field of sports betting and integrity. A global team of qualified integrity experts analyse irregular betting patterns with any suspicious matches subsequently reported to partners, providing essential visibility into the worldwide match-fixing landscape.
Sportradar Integrity Services detected more than 600 suspicious matches across global sport in 2020 alone and have reported over 6,000 suspicious matches during the past 15 years.
Speaking about the partnership, Thomas Schweda, Managing Director, Austrian Tennis Association said: “We recognize that match-fixing and other associated integrity issues pose a significant threat to fair sporting competition.”
“This agreement for Sportradar Integrity Services to monitor the ÖTV State Championships through their UFDS solution will give us valuable integrity protection, as their team will be able to alert us to any potential irregularities they may encounter,” Schweda added.
Sportradar Integrity Services Managing Director Andreas Krannich commented: “We are delighted to welcome on board the Austrian Tennis Association as our newest tennis partner. At Sportradar, we are committed to helping our sporting partners detect and prevent manipulation, and to identify and mitigate all forms of integrity risk.”
