Something new in football world

Portuguesa E-Sports becomes first team in Brazil to have a Game House within the club

This Monday (9), Portuguesa makes its official entry into new forms of electronic sports. Portuguesa E-Sports, created in June 2020 with the aim of expanding the brand and reaching a new audience, is reformulating itself and presents something unprecedented in football world. ‘Lusa’ is the first team in Brazil to have a Game House. The space will serve from public that just wants to play recreationally, to the formation of future players in the digital world.

With approximately 60m², the PORTUGUESA E-SPORTS ACADEMY is already under construction and with a series of new features.

The space will serve from the public that just wants to play for a few hours recreationally, to the formation of future players in the digital world.

However, it is clear that the ‘Sócio-Torcedor’ (Supporter Member) remains prestigious, and has his place guaranteed with discounts and exclusive access.

Another novelty of the PORTUGUESA E-SPORTS ACADEMY is a partnership with LUSATV, which will have a recording and match broadcasting studio, as well as training with coaching, in real time.

Active in FIFA, where ‘Lusa’ already disputes the biggest championship of the modality, Global Fut Clube, other games join the red-green team, such as FREEFIRE, VALORANT, FORTNITE, CSGO, FIFA, EFootball, Wild Rift and League of Legends.

After a year of learning and with the expansion of the electronic sports market, Portuguesa is a pioneer in the construction of an academy for training and development of new athletes, in addition to seeking an increase in the number of new supporters and sales of licensed products.

The eSports market is one of the fastest growing sports segments in the world today. Studies show more than 3 billion practitioners around the world, moving more than U$1.5bn/Year.
